When Sarah and Syed first met, while out one night in West Hartford Center, they knew right away their connection was real and one-of-a-kind. They never looked back.
After a year of dating Syed secretly asked Sarah’s dad for his permission, before popping the question on a Friday night after Sarah got home from work. The couple spent the entire weekend celebrating with family and friends in Boston.
The bride is the daughter of Stephen and Janice Bain of Hampstead, NH. Sarah graduated from UConn and is employed by Tribune Events Group.
The groom is the son of Syed M. and Najma Hussain of Bloomfield. Syed grew up in West Hartford and graduated from Hall High School before enlisting in the U.S. Marine Corps. He also attended Johnson and Wales University and Central Connecticut State University. He is employed as the business development and marketing director for Doctors Express Urgent Care and as a firefighter for the City of Hartford.
Their New Year’s Eve candlelit wedding ceremony took place at the Hill-Stead Museum Estate in Farmington with a reception at the Pond House in West Hartford to ring in a very special new year!
Sarah and Syed honeymooned in the Riviera Maya, Mexico, where they could relax, unwind and get some sun. The couple currently resides in West Hartford.
