Celebrate ‘Shabbat Under the Stars’ in West Hartford

Shine on!  Join our synagogue family for Shabbat Under the Stars on Friday, June 17, 2016, from 5:15 – 8 p.m., at the Emanuel Synagogue, 160 Mohegan Dr., West Hartford, CT.

Enjoy an evening of faith, fun, and food, with a lively outdoor service, themed activities for the kids, and a barbecue dinner.

At 5:15 p.m., there will be a “pre-neg” for adults, snacks, and activities for the kids, with our Director of Congregational Learning, Kate Goldman. At 6 p.m., an engaging, musical Shabbat service “under the stars”  will be led by Rabbi David Small and Cantor Sandy Cohn.

Dinner will follow at about 7 p.m., with barbecued hot dogs, hamburgers, veggie burgers, salads, drinks, and dessert.

Adults (age 13+) $13.00, children (5-12) $7.00, children under 5 and prospective members – FREE.   Family Cap: $40.00. Those interested should RSVP on the Emanuel websitewww.emanuelsynagogue.org or contact the synagogue office 860-236-1275 no later than Friday, June 10.
