The Autorino Center for the Arts at the University of Saint Joseph and Black Eyed Sally’s present “The Legends Live On!” featuring Michael Allman, Claudette King, Sheila Raye Charles, and Jeff Pitchell on Saturday, May 27, 2017, in the Hoffman Auditorium, located on the University’s main campus at 1678 Asylum Ave., West Hartford, CT.

The show begins at 8 p.m., box office opens at 7 p.m., and doors will open at 7 p.m.

This dynamic show features music tied together by the bloodlines of legends. Michael Allman, eldest son of Rock Hall of Famer, Gregg Allman, whose distinctly original songwriting and playing style mixes rock, roots, and the blues; Claudette King, youngest daughter of iconic Blues Master, B.B. King, who was trained in Gospel music at age 13 and mentored by such greats as Aretha Franklin and Etta James; and Sheila Raye Charles, daughter of Ray Charles (voted 2nd best singer of all-time), who delivers spine tingling renditions of her father’s best-known songs. Rounding out this phenomenal quartet is Jeff Pitchell, voted “Best Blues Musician” in New England, whose soulful sound and songwriting have won national and international awards, and a no. 7 CD on USA national Billboard Charts.

These four multi-talented artists promise to provide an evening of entertainment as they play a variety of original music and cover songs for listening, dancing, or sing-along. With Allman, Charles, and King on lead vocals, Pitchell on guitar and vocals backed by his band Texas Flood, this show promises to be an unforgettable experience, as described by crowds at previous sold-out venues. The show has received spectacular reviews from fans as well as critics.

Tickets are reserved seating $35-$65 and can be purchased by calling the Frances Driscoll Box Office at 860.231.5555 or online at www.usj.edu/tickets. #usjarts #usjct #usjmusic
