We-Ha.com and West Hartford Magazine are sponsoring the second annual ‘Best of West Hartford’ contest!

Look up at the tagline on the top of the page – “We have it all in West Hartford.”
The staff at We-Ha.com and West Hartford Magazine certainly thinks so – and so do the residents and other customers who love and support our local businesses. Our restaurants, stores, services, and other businesses often win awards in regional “best of” competitions.
But this contest is different.
As we did last year for the first time, we are sponsoring a true “readers’ choice” survey. Beginning today, you, the readers, will be able to nominate your favorites for the 2016 “Best of West Hartford” in a variety of categories.
Nominations close on May 30, 2016, at midnight. The businesses that receive the most nominations will be chosen as finalists and beginning Monday, June 6, you will be able to vote for your favorite in each category. Voting will end on Saturday, August 13, 2016.
Nominations and voting will all be conducted on We-Ha.com.
The winners not only earn a seal of approval from our community. The other really exciting part is that once the winners are determined, they will be properly honored and celebrated at the not-to-be-missed second annual “Best of West Hartford” event on Thursday, Sept. 8, 2016.
One of the best parts for readers is that if you participate in the “Best of West Hartford” readers’ choice survey, you will automatically be entered to win four general admission tickets to the “Best of West Hartford” event.
Of course there are a few rules, including that you may only vote once and MUST verify your ballot (you’ll automatically be sent an email at the address you use to register once you click “finalize”) so that your nominations and votes count.
You don’t need to be a West Hartford resident to vote, but only West Hartford businesses can be nominated. Please share this information with family and friends – the more input the better!
This is the second year, so we have heard your suggestions and have added categories to the survey, but we also have a space for your to write in suggestions that you’d like included next year.
