The LEGO Store at Westfarms, which opened in June 2014, is celebrating its one-year anniversary and is taking over the mall’s Center Court area for the weekend’s festivities.

Visitors of all ages are invited to help build a 15-foot, large-scale map of the United States out of LEGO bricks. The dedicated “Create a Nation” building area will be located in a portion of Center Court.

Also in Center Court will be four enormous dinosaurs – crafted entirely from LEGO bricks.

According to a news release from Westfarms, visitors to the exhibit will be among the “first to see the LEGO models of the highly anticipated Jurassic World dinosaurs and its stars of the summer blockbuster ‘Blue,’ ‘Charlie,’ ‘Delta,’ and ‘Echo.’

In addition, a model of the movie’s main character, played by Chris Pratt, will be riding a LEGO brick motorcycle in Center Court.

The building event will take place on Saturday, June 13, from 10 a.m.-6 p.m. and Sunday, June 14, from 11 a.m.- 6 p.m.
