Watkinson School’s girls varsity basketball team, currently undefeated with a 7-0 record on their season, won the prestigious Kingswood Oxford Invitational Tournament for the first time in Watkinson’s history.

With a roster of 11 athletes coming from six Connecticut towns (see breakdown below) and coached by first-year coach Amanda Morales of West Hartford, the Lady Rams beat a highly competitive team from Lawrenceville School in New Jersey in the semi-final game with a final score of 58-55. They went on to dominate the well-coached Kingswood-Oxford team in the championship game with a final score of 81-71.
