Hall High School receiver John Wells and Conard High School running back Nate Richam both received their all-state awards Sunday as members of the Class LL offensive team. The annual banquet was held at the Aqua Turf  in Southington.

Wells, who is headed to Southern Connecticut State University, finished his senior year with 36 receptions for 480 yards and nine touchdowns.

Richam, who plans to attend Bowdoin next fall, also plans to play football. He finished the 2015 season with 172 carries for a school record 2,075 yards and 26 touchdowns.

Richam, who was also an all-state defender in lacrosse last spring, is only the second West Hartford Public Schools running back to eclipse 2,000 yards in a year. Albert Haynes, who graduated from Hall in 1987, was the first during the 1986 season.
