West Hartford Summer Concerts in Blue Back Square begin in May

Free outdoor concerts will be held in the gazebo in West Hartford’s Blue Back Square beginning in mid-May.

Outdoor concerts are synonymous with summer in many communities, and a wide variety of musical groups will perform at Webster Walk in West Hartford’s Blue Back Square from May to September. There are also some fundraisers and exercise classes that will take place at Webster Walk.

Below is the May schedule to date:

  • Thursday,  May 18, 6-8 p.m. Fever (Funk, Jazz, Rock)
  • Friday, May 19, 6:30-8 p.m. Jake Kulak & the LowDown (Blues Rock)
  • Saturday, May 20, 7-9:30 p.m. CT Youth (Christian music)
  • Sunday, May 21, noon-12:30 p.m. Hartt School of Music Quartet (Classical)
  • Wednesday, May 24, 6-9:30 p.m. Harmonic ReWalk (Acoustic Rock)
  • Thursday, May 25, 6-6:45 p.m. Fitness Bootcamp (Exercise Class)
  • Saturday, May 27, 2-4 p.m. Pushing Static (Indie Pop)
  • Saturday, May 27, 7-9 p.m. Punch Bowl Astronauts (Alternative/Classic Dance)
  • Sunday, May 28, 4 p.m. Lauren Marina Music (Original, Folk/Blues)

On Wednesday, May 17, 24, and 31, from noon-2 p.m., there will also be an Alex’s Lemonade Stand fundraiser at Webster Walk.

The list will continue to grow over the summer, and please note that performers typically cancel when it rains.
