On Sunday, April 23, two TD Bank stores in West Hartford will host “Bring Change,” a community event benefitting the Miracle League of CT, which offers recreational, educational and cultural activities for local children with physical and cognitive challenges.

Donations will be accepted at the TD Bank stores located at Bishops Corner (319 North Main Street) and Sedgwick Plaza (143 South Main Street) throughout the week of April 17-22 during normal business hours, culminating in a celebration from 10 a.m.-1 p.m. on Sunday, April 23 on opening day for the Miracle League team at the West Hartford Little League fields.

Additional donations can be made on opening day. There will be a check presentation at 1 p.m.

TD’s Bring Change program supports people and organizations in communities across the bank’s footprint that are making a meaningful, local difference. The program focuses on issues that affect low and moderate income areas, as well as homelessness, food shortages and services for those with special needs.

A separate grant contribution will also be provided through the TD Charitable Foundation, the charitable giving arm of TD Bank.

The Miracle League of CT provides a safe place to play for children with physical and cognitive challenges who reside in Connecticut. The organization offers recreational, educational and cultural activities in an accessible, nurturing and noncompetitive environment that is supportive for both the children and their families.

All funds from TD Bank’s Bring Change campaign will go toward funding of three separate day trips for athletes and their families as well as other programs for the Miracle League of CT.
