In this episode of the Experience We-Ha Podcast, Ryan and I have the pleasure of speaking with storyteller, Matthew Dicks, a 39-time Moth StorySLAM champion and six-time GrandSLAM champion. He is also co-founder and creative director of Speak Up, a storytelling organization where he teaches people the art of storytelling and public speaking.
We talk to Matt about how he got his start in storytelling, how ANYONE can find stories to tell by doing homework for life, the elements of a good story, and Matt shares a hilarious story about his visit to MIT.
Matt will be doing Speak Up Podcast LIVE! on Saturday, May 18 at 7:30 p.m. where he and other storytellers will tell their stories live at the Connecticut Historical Society. Admission is just $5 and you can find out more info here.
