In this episode of the Experience We-Ha Podcast, Ryan and I speak with Suzi Craig, senior director of Strategic Partnerships and Policy at Mental Health Connecticut (MHConn), a statewide, nonprofit organization whose mission is to improve mental health for all Connecticut residents.
One in four people experience mental illness, and May is mental health awareness month. Suzi discusses the programs MHConn provides to those affected by mental health issues, the issues in pop culture and social media and the work they are doing in May to raise awareness about this very important issue in our society.
You can support Mental Health CT by attending the Yard Goats game on Monday, May 20, or at the opening night of the Connecticut Sun at the Mohegan Sun Arena on Saturday, May 25.
