West Hartford’s Hall High School held its Junior Prom on Saturday night, May 12, 2018, at the Farmington Marriott.
Despite the chilly and somewhat drizzly weather, prom-goers looked spectacular decked out in elegant gowns and tuxedos as they posed for photo session at homes and other sites in West Hartford and the surrounding area before the official gala began.

Loved the photos of Mayor’s Ball and Junior proms, but would like names to be included in photos.
Hi Sandy! I do appreciate the comment, but the prom photos are all provided by different people in the community, and I am afraid if I asked them to supply names I wouldn’t get many photos at all – especially not the large group shots. Even when I was taking prom photos of my kids and their friends I couldn’t have named every kid in the photo. They all look so different when they are dressed up! As for the Mayor’s Ball, I took more than 200 photos and it’s very disruptive at an event like that to be asking people to spell their names, etc. I also don’t want to limit posting the photos only to the ones where I personally know the names, so it’s really the only way for me to be able to publish a large photo gallery. Other media outlets do the same thing with large photo galleries.
