Volunteers are needed for the 2016 iCan Bike Camp which will be held July 25 – 29 at Hall High School in West Hartford, CT.

The camp teaches individuals with disabilities to ride a two wheel bicycle and become lifelong riders and is sponsored by The Miracle League of CT. Volunteers must be 15 or older.

We ask that our volunteers be able to commit Monday to Friday for the whole week for 75-minute sessions. Riders can become attached to their spotters and consistency is a vital part of the iCan Bike program. It’s best when our riders are able to see the same faces every day and no prior experience with people with disabilities is necessary.

We are pleased to offer this bike program to people with disabilities and look forward to having you play an important part in helping our special riders learn to ride a two-wheel bicycle independently. With your help, our riders will be able to experience the same joy that you may remember when you first learned to ride a two-wheeler on your own.
