The 2nd Annual WeHa Whiskey Festival, a fall fundraiser for two local charities, drew a crowd of over 250 people who came to enjoy the tastings and lend their financial support. A total of $10,000 was raised, with $5,000 going to each charity, Camp Courant and West Hartford’s Town That Cares fund.
The event was sponsored by 104.1 FM Radio, Maximum Beverage, Highland Park Market, Chivas, The Glenlivet, and Laphroaig.
On Dec. 12, Camp Courant representatives accepted a check for $5,000 from Seth Goldstein, managing partner of Maximum Beverage, a sponsor and organizer of the annual fundraiser.
