A Connecticut Party of West Hartford entering its second election as a Third Party option for town residents. Party leaders say there is a need for an alternative party that will resolve to find solutions that will address our local challenges.

“We are excited to provide a diverse slate of candidates that embody our mission to provide voters a common sense approach to solve issues,” said Chairman Mark Merritt.

The party has selected Rick Bush for Town Council and Roni Rodman and Kristyn Rosen-Jacobs for Board of Education to continue the work we started in 2021. We are looking forward to the future. This very accomplished group of individuals will help fill the needs of our community, listen and understand how we can move forward collectively in a positive way,” said Vice Chair Lee Gold.

A Connecticut Party of West Hartford is a party that reflects fiscally conservative values while promoting dialogue on social issues. ACPWH is not beholden to the principals of the current political parties. Our community is diverse and engaged thus requires an alternative view on how we should approach governing. The current dynamics of our national and state political landscape requires a break from the political divide and have a party/voice that is based on moderate perspectives, respect for different views and creates a centrist approach to governing while understanding the needs of our community.
