A Message of Thanks from West Hartford First Responders

Published On: April 27, 2020Categories: Government, Police/Fire

The West Hartford Police Department and West Hartford Fire Department have created a moving video, a thank you message to healthcare workers at local hospitals.

West Hartford Police and Fire Departments collaborated for a tribute video to those they consider local heroes – healthcare workers.

“This video serves a small thank you to their dedication and hard work,” the introduction to the video says.

First responders are often seen as heroes, but in this case they are thanking all who work at Hartford Hospital, UConn Health Center, St. Francis Hospital, and Connecticut Children’s Medical Center for caring for the community amid the COVID-19 pandemic.

West Hartford Police Det. Ross Friedman, who also owns the aerial photography and videography business. Overwatch LLC, filmed and edited the video.
