Fifty juried artisans present a variety of handcrafted goods and gourmet foods. The selection includes pottery, metal, glass, wood, jewelry, photography, soaps, candles, jams, cookies, candies and condiments. Fiber arts include hand knits, weaving, felted wool, alpaca yarn, quilting, tie dye, hand bags, and accessories.
Farm and gourmet food purveyors offer jams, pickles, honey, maple syrup, cookies, candy, and more.
Festivities include an alpaca petting zoo, live acoustic music, café with homemade soups and baked goods, chair massage, and a teacup auction of items donated by each artisan. The event is open to the public; parking and admission are free.
Medical Aid to Haiti (MATH) is a charitable organization that provides primary medical care to over 10,000 people a year via a mobile clinic staffed with Haitian doctors and nurses. MATH is “helping Haitians heal Haitians”, and envisioning a Haitian society that can provide desperately needed primary medical care for its own people.
