Autism Families CONNECTicut celebrated its ninth anniversary with “A Sparkling Celebration” fundraiser at the Simsbury Inn.

All proceeds benefit the organization’s recreational, social, and educational programs. Nearly 200 guests enjoyed passed appetizers, and food stations, as well as delicious desserts and a bustling silent auction.

Auctioneer Renee DiNino, of iHeartMedia, led a spirited live auction that raised thousands of dollars – headlined by trips to Myrtle Beach and New York City, Masters Tournament mementoes, and an NFL game football signed by Patriots no. 12 Tom Brady.

Len Besthoff, an investigative reporter with NBC Connecticut, was the event emcee, and John “Cadillac” Saville played tunes for dancing at the after party. Suzette Kuerbitz, a program participant, presented a stunning musical performance.
