Nearly 200 people gathered at the Pond House in Elizabeth Park on June 7 to honor Judy Bierly for her 23 years of service at the Bridge Family Center. While Judy will continue to lead the organization’s signature fundraising event, The Children’s Charity Ball, for one more year, she will officially retire from her position as director of Community Services on June 30.

During the event, many people offered heart-felt remarks, and Judy delighted in an original bathrobe made for her with the Bridge logo as part of a retirement-relaxation basket. She was also presented with a handmade quilt made from the Tune-In to Life tee shirts used during her tenure.

“Judy has left an indelible mark on the community through her work at The Bridge,” said Executive Director Margaret Hann. “Many of our community service programs and fundraising events were developed and grown under her direction, and she has built long-lasting relationships with people throughout our community. It would be impossible to count the number of lives she has touched, and we remain incredibly grateful for her 23 years of service.”
