CABE Sets Legislative Priorities for Upcoming Session

Priorities will include a focus on not only foundational funding but the special education excess cost grant.

Funding took center stage Tuesday as the Connecticut Association of Boards of Education (CABE) presented its list of legislative priorities for the upcoming General Assembly session beginning next week.

Patrice McCarthy, CABE’s executive director and general counsel, described education in Connecticut as “an army of individuals trying to provide the best possible education for our state.”
