Conard Field Hockey Shuts Out Lewis Mills on Senior Night

Conard field hockey hosted Lewis Mills in West Hartford on Senior Night, and celebrated the 6-0 win.

Conard’s field hockey team dominated on Senior Night on Monday evening, handing visiting Lewis Mills a 6-0 shutout under the lights at McKee Stadium. The win lifts the Red Wolves to 9-2-1 on the season as they look to qualify for the state tournament.
Senior Stella Milburn sparked the offense just 30 seconds into the game with the opening goal, setting the tone for a wire-to-wire performance. Conard led 2-0 after the first quarter and steadily increased the margin, scoring in each period.

Berkeley Hess led the scoring with two goals, while Milburn, Fiona Campbell, Josie Goslee, and Gigi Smith each added one. Smith also notched two assists, with Bella Egress and Freja Morris each contributing an assist as well.
Senior goalkeeper Mimi Dolan made three saves to secure the shutout.

Before the game, Conard honored eight seniors: captains Fiona Campbell, Bella Egress, Maddy Santangelo, and Freja Morris, along with Addy Hanley, Stella Milburn, Anna Quinn, and Mimi Dolan.
Conard will look to secure its 10th win of the season on Tuesday, when the team travels to face Southington (2-5-1).
