Conard Student Wins Human Relations Award

Helen Nguyen, a student at West Hartford’s Conard High School, has been named a 2019 Youth Human Relations Award winner by the NCCJ.

Conard High School would like to announce that one of our students, Helen Nguyen, has been chosen to receive the NCCJ’s (National Conference for Community and Justice) 2019 Youth Human Relations Award.

Nguyen is being recognized for her hard work, dedication and commitment to bringing social change to her school community.

She is an active leader of Conard’s Action Club and Feminist Coalition and is passionate about facilitating challenging dialogues with peers, teachers, and administration alike. Her award will be presented at NCCJ’s awards banquet in front of community leaders, business partners and members of the NCCJ.
