With a stroke of his pen, Gov. Ned Lamont recognized the cultural triumph of light over darkness in the Southeast Asian community in Connecticut.

Lamont, joined by government and community leaders of Southeast Asian descent at the state capitol this week, signed Public Act 25-59 into law.
