In Connecticut, Tuesday’s election could not have gone much better than it did for the Democratic Party.
They held off challenges in all five of the state’s Congressional districts and one of its two U.S. Senate seats. They even gained a seat in the state Senate and at least four in the state House of Representatives despite already holding lopsided advantages in both chambers. The no-excuse absentee ballot question was also approved by a wide margin.
