The West Hartford Police Department is hosting the free class for women and girls, sponsored by Jane Doe No More and East Coast Training Systems.

Jane Doe No More, in partnership with East Coast Training Systems, is offering a free empowering personal safety and self-defense class designed to train women and girls 12 years of age and older to stay safe physically, emotionally, and intellectually.

This hands-on training event is being hosted by the West Hartford Police Department and will be held at the West Hartford Town Hall Auditorium, 50 South Main Street, West Hartford, CT, on July 26, 2025. It will help attendees build the skills and confidence needed to protect themselves in threatening situations.

Escape Alive Survival Skills is a leading self-defense program that combines practical techniques with situational awareness to empower individuals to respond effectively in emergencies.

This event is open to women and girls 12 years of age and older of all skill levels and backgrounds, with a focus on creating a safe, inclusive environment where everyone can feel empowered to take charge of their safety.
