The Exchange Club of West Hartford recently held the 38th Annual Jack Haeflich Memorial Charity Golf Tournament at the Rockledge Golf Club in West Hartford. The weather cooperated by providing a partly cloudy day for the 100 plus golfers to enjoy the scramble style format for playing the course.
Congratulations to John Tracey, Neil Cunningham, and his sons, Kyle and Grant, for winning the tournament.
Throughout the day golfers were able to participate in a variety of individual hole contests; had the opportunity for winning items from the extensive array of raffle prizes provided by local businesses and enjoyed a BBQ style buffet provided by the Rockledge Grille.
With the support of our Platinum Sponsor Simoniz, our Gold and Silver sponsors as well as the generous donation from The Toczydlowski Family Fund, the event raised more than $30,000 for local causes and charities.

The money raised makes it possible for us to do what the Club has done for 90 years; support many charitable organizations in our community such as KIDSAFE CT, an affiliate of the Village for Families & Children. Since 1981 KIDSAFE CT, located in Rockville, has worked for the Prevention and Treatment of Child Abuse and Neglect – the primary mission of the National Exchange Club.

We also support almost 20 other charities every year such as The Bridge, Town of West Hartford Food Pantry, Friends of Feeney, Johnny’s Jog for Charity in addition to Police & Fire Person of the Year, College Scholarships for Conard and Hall Seniors and our annual Sullivan Scholarship for a deserving high school student.
