Linda Wright, Hall’s Safe Grad Flocking co-chair, believes that sending a flock of pink flamingos to an unsuspecting family’s lawn is the perfect way to celebrate a graduate as well as raise money for Conard’s and Hall’s Safe Grad parties.

Now that graduation has been announced, “we are expecting people to focus less on snow days and more on graduation,” says Jim Palma, Conard’s Flocking co-chair.

Flocking orders for Hall or Conard can be placed now! Conard’s Flocking season opens Monday, April 20, 2015, and ends June 8, a week prior to graduation. Hall’s Flocking season is open now and will continue until graduation.

With a $25 donation to Safe Grad, you can send a Flock of Flamingos to anyone residing in West Hartford as well as to those high school seniors living in nearby towns. Delivery and pickup of each Flock is usually done secretly, at night, by parent volunteers, so the recipients awake to a colorful surprise on their lawns!

The Flocking includes a flock of flamingos, a message from the sender, and a congratulatory sign. Flocks usually commemorate a graduation, but they can be sent to celebrate any special occasion, such as birthdays, anniversaries, or just for fun.

You can order a Flock now – simply access the order form at the appropriate websites:

Thank you, in advance, for supporting Conard’s and Hall’s Safe Grad events! Your donations have and will help keep our high school seniors safe on Graduation Night!!
