If you live in West Hartford, you’re in for a treat! On Friday, March 27, The New Children’s Museum will be open extended hours from 4 to 8 p.m. – just for you. West Hartford residents who come between those hours will receive FREE admission upon proof of residency.

Bring the family and tour our latest exhibits including “It’s a Nano World” and “Framed: Step into Art.” Meet the animals of our Wildlife Sanctuary, take in our spectacular planetarium shows, and learn about all we have to offer year round – including interactive labs, workshops, multi-sensory exhibits and demonstrations, state-of-the art digital science dome planetarium shows and movies, vacation camps, sleepovers, birthday parties, scout activities, and special events.

The New Children’s Museum continues its legacy as a premier STEAM education center integrating science, technology, engineering, art, and math. Home to over 100 live animals, the Museum features hands-on science exhibits, out-of-this-world digital planetarium shows, and programs for young children and families. The New Children’s Museum and Roaring Brook Nature Center are the region’s premiere destinations for science and nature exploration.

The New Children’s Museum and Preschool are located at 950 Trout Brook Drive in West Hartford and Roaring Brook Nature Center is located at 70 Gracey Road in Canton. More information is available at www.TheChildrensMuseumCT.org.
