Hall High’s National Arts Honor Society members Alexandra Pesce and Ian Enders designed this year’s tabletop tree, titled: Oh Gingerbread Tree. The quintessential gingerbread color of the tree, design and hand-made ornaments stood out as a crafty and charming addition to the Festival of Trees.
On the opening night of the 41st Festival of Trees & Traditions, president of the Hall High National Art’s Honor Society, Ellie Gray (Hall High 2015), joined Alexa and Ian for the fanfare and festivities including food and drinks and music by traditional holiday carolers. Media, local celebrities and folks from all over Connecticut attended the festive events while viewing the many trees and wreaths that were decorated and donated to this year’s Festival of Trees.
Hall High’s NAHS’s Tree was auctioned and the proceeds will help the Women’s Committee of the Wadsworth Anthenium secure funds for the museum’s special exhibitions, educational programs, and operating expenses.
