The Hall Titans delivered a dominant performance in front of their home crowd, rolling past Avon with a convincing 70-32 victory. Hall set the tone early and never looked back, building a commanding 31-13 halftime lead behind sharp shooting and relentless defensive pressure.

Avon opened the game with a shot-clock violation, and the Titans immediately capitalized. Isaiah Gaston knocked down a 3-pointer to spark the scoring, followed by another from Nico Gilbert to give Hall a quick 6-0 advantage. Eli Kramer’s rebound led to a foul, extending the lead to 8-0. After Avon got on the board, Hall continued to apply pressure, pushing the score to 11-4 before Gilbert drilled another 3 to make it 14–4.

Avon responded late in the first quarter, trimming the deficit to 14-6. Gilbert opened the second quarter with a layup, and Zachary Debin followed with one of his own to stretch the lead to 19-6. Avon fouls continued to hurt the visitors, as Hall converted at the line to go up 21-6. After a Falcon 3-pointer made it 21-9, Gaston attacked the basket to restore momentum. Back-to-back 3-pointers from Gilbert and Gaston pushed the lead to 29-11, and a basket from Maxwell St. Arromand sent the Titans into halftime comfortably ahead, 31-13.

Hall wasted no time in the second half. St. Arromand opened the scoring with a layup, and Gaston followed with an and-one finish as the lead continued to grow. Timothy O’Brien added to the run with a basket, and Gilbert connected on yet another 3-pointer to make it 40-18. O’Brien scored again, and additional Avon fouls allowed Hall to extend the margin to 46-18. Kramer added a basket late in the third quarter as the Titans closed the period up 54-20.

The fourth quarter remained one-sided, with layups from multiple Titans and continued trips to the free-throw line pushing the score to 63-29. Gilbert capped off the scoring with another 3-pointer, further cementing Hall’s dominance.

Gilbert and Gaston led the way offensively, each finishing with over 15 points. Gilbert was especially effective from beyond the arc, knocking down five 3-pointers. Their scoring, combined with disciplined defense and strong rebounding, proved to be the difference as the Titans cruised to an emphatic win over Avon.

Next up, Hall will host South Windsor on Monday night, and will travel to Newington on Thursday. Both games begin at 6:45 p.m.
