The Hall vs. Danbury first round game in the girls Class LL soccer tournament remained a scoreless tie through two overtime periods before the Hatters upset the Warriors 8-7 in a penalty kick shootout.

Hall was seeded no. 13, and hosted no. 20 Danbury at home at Robinson Stadium. Danbury will next travel to no. 4 seed Simsbury on Thursday.

Conard was sent home early from the Class LL tournament as well, losing to no. 6 seed Fairfield Warde 1-0 in Fairfield. The Chieftains were a no. 27 seed.  Fairfield Warde will host no. 11 seed New Milford on Thursday in second round action.
