The Safe Grad Committee for West Hartford’s Hall High School Class of 2018 has coordinated with Savers for the Jan. 27 collection of clothing and household goods.

Everyone and anyone from everywhere is invited to donate gently-used clothing and household items at the Hall High Safe Grad FUNDrive campaign, to be held Jan. 27, from 9 a.m.-1 p.m. at Hall High School’s parking lot (by the tennis courts).
The goal is to raise $5,000 – through a donation of about 2,000 13-gallon kitchen size trash bags of stuff – to support the Hall High Safe Grad Party for the Class of 2018. Acceptable donations include clothing, shoes, accessories, bedding, linens, bath items, toys, household items, and books.
All goods collected through the FUNDrive will be sold to Savers, the parent company to great thrift stores like Value Village, Unique, and Savers. They will pay Hall Safe Grad by the pound for every qualifying donation received. In turn, these items help keep their floors freshly stocked.
Anyone unable to make it on Jan. 27 can still donate. To arrange for early drop off, prior to the event date, please email Hall Safe Grad chairs Nanci Rosenkranz or Cheryl Wolmer at [email protected] and appropriate arrangements will be made to collect the donations. Donations should not be left at Hall prior to the event.
