Evan Kelmar ’16 of Farmington, Zach Mendelovici ’15 of Glastonbury, and Mark Sheehan ’16 of Rocky Hill, who traveled to the competition with faculty advisor Ted Levine, placed second among U.S. schools and 13th overall at the event, which included 160 students from 35 schools and nine countries.

Mendelovici also qualified for next Spring’s “Worlds” competition, which will also be held in Hong Kong, by placing fourth in Extemporaneous Speaking.
