Thousands of kids have passed through the doors of Knight Hall School since it opened, and last year the school hosted a party in honor of its 90th anniversary, with alumni, as well as parents and community well-wishers, joining in the celebration.
Last year the theme was “Dress Like Your Child,” and this year Knight Hall will hold a “Back to the ’80s” themed party on Feb. 28, from 7-10:30 p.m. at West Hartford Town Hall. The inaugural event last year was a real hit and the school community is looking forward to another fantastic night!
Knight Hall is one of the oldest schools in Connecticut, and focuses on its early childhood philosophy of “learning through play.”
The annual fundraiser helps to raise money to maintain capital improvements, provides resources so that teachers can continuously develop, and will help to ensure that Knight Hall is around another 90 years.
The event, which will be adults only, will feature live music from “Syndicate,” a professional trivia host with prizes, a silent auction and raffle, and heavy appetizers. Attendees are encouraged to embrace the ’80s and dress accordingly – awards will be given!
Knight Hall welcomes not only parents, but alumni and community well-wishers. The event is BYOB. Tickets can be purchased for $35 a person at the door or can be purchased in advance for $30 by emailing Knight Hall Assistant Director Liz Lopes at [email protected].
