KO Senior Sadie Margolis of West Hartford Named to National Honor Choir

The National Association for Music Education announced July 21 that Kingswood Oxford School rising senior Sadie Margolis of West Hartford has been named a member of the National Honor Choir.
Recently, Kingswood Oxford rising senior Sadie Margolis was named as a member of the National Honor Choir by NAfME (National Association for Music Education).
Margolis, of West Hartford, was selected as a mixed choir, soprano two. This incredible accomplishment reflects a great deal of continued hard work and dedication over the course of her musical career.
The ANHE program represents the top-performing high school musicians across the country. In addition to being a musical showcase, the event is a comprehensive and educational experience bringing top conductors in the field of musical education to lead a variety of ensembles that include concert band, symphony orchestra, mixed choir, jazz ensemble, guitar ensemble, and modern band. The event will take place in November 2020 at the Gaylord Palms Resort & Convention Center.
Margolis was previously selected for the CT Northern Regional Choir and the CT All-State Choir. In addition to her singing accomplishments, Margolis is an active member of the award-winning theater department at Kingswood Oxford and had a leading role in the most recent production of Thoroughly Modern Millie, which was selected as Best Musical in the state.
