More CT Protests Scheduled for Saturday, Some with National ‘Rage Against the Regime’ Theme

[Updated] A planned protest in West Hartford on Saturday has been canceled so it would not conflict with the rally at the Connecticut State Capitol building sponsored by 50501, from 10 a.m. to noon.

Once again, residents across Connecticut are gearing up for protests across the state this weekend.
While the national movement 50501 has encouraged nationwide protests on Aug. 2 to be held on the theme “Rage Against the Regime,” the themes for Connecticut’s protests vary from “Gun violence prevention” in Bethel to “Stop the cuts” in Enfield, both touching on federal policies impacting local residents.
