The Noah Webster House in West Hartford is pleased to announce this year’s “Spring Craft Market” event on Saturday, May 2, 2026, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.

Enjoy an outdoor shopping experience and the opportunity to locate that unique gift for your family & friends … while supporting local businesses & artisans. The market will take place on the grounds of the historic Noah Webster House at 227 South Main Street, West Hartford.

Over 20 local vendors will offer diverse crafts, gift items, decor, and handmade goods for everyone on your list – teachers, high school and college graduates, gardeners, your four-legged friends –and don’t forget Mom! There is no registration required to attend.

In lieu of ticketed admission, the museum suggests a $5 donation upon entry, which supports the museum’s mission and educational initiatives. Keep an eye on the Noah Webster House & West Hartford Historical Society’s social media channels for updates on participating vendors. You’ll also have the opportunity for an up-close look at the exterior renovations on this National Historic Landmark homestead, the birthplace of Noah Webster.

The Noah Webster House & West Hartford Historical Society interprets the life & accomplishments of Noah Webster; author, lexicographer, and father of American education, preserving and operating his boyhood home (a National Historic Landmark built in 1747) in West Hartford, Connecticut. The West Hartford Historical Society is the repository of three centuries of artifacts & archives from the town’s storied past.
