“Vianney,” a live one-man production performed by Leonardo Defilippis of Saint Luke Productions, will be presented in the Richard Rice Auditorium at Northwest Catholic High School on Wednesday, September 16 at 7 p.m.

“Vianney” tells the story of Saint John Vianney, a humble priest who battled the devil to save souls in the French village of Ars, where the people had fallen into decadence, crime and debauchery. In his determination to save every soul in his care, he encountered tremendous resistance and even violent supernatural attacks. He overcame these attacks and succeeded not only in reforming the lives of his parishioners, but also in drawing hundreds of thousands of pilgrims to the tiny parish.

More than 100,000 people have seen over 200 performances of this drama, which began touring the country as part of the worldwide celebration of the Year for Priests. The production runs 90 minutes and is suitable for ages 9 and up.

Admission is a free-will offering and all donations will go to the Northwest Catholic Tuition Assistance Fund. For additional information and to view the show’s trailer, visit www.NorthwestCatholic.org/Vianney.

The show is sponsored by the Father Nadolny Good News Fund.
