UPDATED: Silver Alert Canceled, West Hartford Man Found

Connecticut State Police canceled the Silver Alert for Henry Willliams, Jr., 76, of West Hartford on Friday. He was found in Massachusetts, unharmed, and was reunited with his family.

UPDATE, Nov. 21, 2:40 p.m.: Henry Williams, Jr. was found in Massachusetts and was reunited with his family on Friday afternoon.
“He was found with his car, in good condition,” said Connecticut State Police Spokesperson Lt. Paul Vance. According to Lt. Vance, there were no violations of the law.
“The family was very thankful and this case has been concluded,” Lt. Vance said.
UPDATE, Nov. 21, 9 a.m.:
According to NBC Connecticut, Henry Williams, Jr., 76, was last seen driving his own vehicle, following his daughter, Holly Williams, on Route 9 at approximately 9:45 a.m. Thursday morning.
Both were headed south on Route 9, in New Britain, when Holly Williams lost sight of her father’s vehicle, she told NBC Connecticut.
According to NBC Connecticut, Henry Williams “is new to the area and struggles with his mental health. He currently lives at the Chatfield Independent Living facility in West Hartford.”
Holly Williams said she found her father’s cellphone in his apartment, and has not been able to reach him.
According to Holly Williams, he was last seen driving a silver 2013 Honda Accord with Nevada license plates 206-YKD.

A Silver Alert was issued by the Connecticut State Police on Thursday for Henry Williams, Jr.
Williams, 76, was last seen on Thursday, Nov. 20, 2014, in West Hartford. He is described by police as a black male with gray hair and brown eyes, 5 ft 9 inches tall, and 192 pounds.
According to police, Williams was last seen wearing a black and green winter jacket with tan fleece, jeans, and black loafers.
