Registration is now open for the Fall and Winter programs at Elmwood Community Center, providing recreation, education and enrichment for all ages. Initial classes for the fall sessions begin in mid-September and early registration will ensure your enrollment.

Kindermusik classes are for our youngest students who participate with an adult in one of the three levels available for their age group: “Cuddle & Bounce” for newborn to 15 months, “Sing & Play” for 1-2½ -year-olds and “Wiggle & Grow for ages 2-4½. On Wednesday, September 9th free demo classes will be held for each of these courses; please register if you wish to attend.

Adult participation is also required for our Arts & Crafts classes “Hand/Foot Print” for newborn to six year olds, “Sticky Fingers” for ages two to five and “Clay with Me” for ages three to six. We have a number of additional crafts options available for children aged four years and older to attend on their own creating works of art in a variety of mediums.

Pre-schoolers can get physical in “Tumbling Tots” and older children can consider gymnastics and Tae Kwon Do. Musical options are one-on-one piano lessons for ages six and up or group voice lessons for those 15 and older. Babysitters need training too and we offer a class that includes basic skills, first aid, safety and sanitation.

Elmwood provides for a variety of interests: learn to tango, practice T’ai Chi or train your dog. We have adult “drop-in” fitness classes on Tuesdays and Thursdays as well as Friday “Gym Kids” when toddlers and their participating adult can drop-in for some playtime and socialization. Don’t miss out on all we have to offer at the Elmwood Community Center. Our programs are educational, stimulating and most importantly lots of fun!
