More than 100 teachers from all over Connecticut attended the CAIS conference entitled The Future of Learning is NOW!  “Leveraging the Gift of Failure” at Renbrook School on Tuesday, Aug, 25.

Marek Beck, Renbrook’s Upper School head, is also the chairperson for the Commission on Professional Development for The Connecticut Association of Independent Schools (CAIS). “We as a school were very excited about this opportunity to bring this great program to Renbrook School,” says Beck.

The conference included keynote speakers Jessica Lahey, author of “The Gift of Failure: How the Best Parents Learn to Let Go So Their Children Can Succeed”, and Scott MacClintic, Director of the Kravis Center for Excellence in Teaching at The Loomis Chaffee School.  The event was sponsored by EASTCONN.
