The Farmington Valley Stage Company continues with its production of ‘Laughter on the 23rd Floor,’ as a tribute to Artistic Director Howard Hirsch, founder of West Hartford’s Park Road Playhouse in 1999, who passed away last week.

Last week we brought you the sad news of the passing of Howard Hirsch, known to many in West Hartford as the founder of the Park Road Playhouse.

After he left West Hartford, Hirsch continued his involvement in theater through the Farmington Valley Stage Company, where he served as artistic director. Due to illness, Hirsch was unable to direct this fall’s production of “Laughter on the 23rd Floor.”but as those in theater say, “The show must go on,” and that’s certainly what Hirsch would have wanted.

The show continues for two more weekends at the Canton Town Hall auditorium.
