On today’s episode we sit down with Skip Desjardin, author of the new book “September 1918, War, Plague, and the World Series.” With this year being the 100th anniversary of the 1918 Word Series between the Red Sox and Cubs, Skip will speak to some of the issues described in his book including – an introduction to a young Babe Ruth, the impact World War I had on baseball, and even a pay dispute that almost brought the series to a premature end.
