Three West Hartford high school students have been named to the CCC’s All-Conference team for girls basketball for the 2016-17 season.
Conard juniors Lena Proietti and Delaney Connors were named named all-conference, along with Hall junior Amber Raisner.
All three players have been standouts this season for the West Hartford high schools, both of which head into the Class LL playoffs with their best records in years.
Raisner has led the scoring for a Hall team which finished the regular season 17-3, and shared the CCC-Blue title with Glastonbury. Hall defeated Rocky Hill 52-42 in CCC first-round action on Feb. 16 and beat Bristol Eastern 59-34 on Feb. 18 in the quarterfinals, but on Monday lost to Middletown in the semifinals 62-47.
Connors has consistently been Conard’s leading scorer this season, and has scored more than 700 points in her career. Conard finished the regular season 16-4, and lost a first-round CCC matchup with Wethersfield, 62-59.
Class LL tournament seedings will be announced on Feb. 23.
