Kingswood Oxford Girls’ Soccer players Marissa Aniolowski ’16 and Emily Kirton ’16 have been named to the Girls’ Soccer All State team (Prep Division) by the CT Girls Soccer Coaches Association.

Aniolowski, a midfielder, is the daughter of Rich Aniolowski and Karen Weseliza of Enfield.

Kirton, a forward, is the daughter of Orlando and Jillian Kirton of Glastonbury.

Both were instrumental in the Wyverns’ excellent season, in which the team finished 10-6 and qualified for the quarterfinals of the NEPSAC Class B tournament.

This is the first time since 2011 that a KO Girls’ Soccer player has been named All State. The girls will be honored at the CGSCA banquet on Jan. 25, 2015.
