On Tuesday, Aug. 6 at 6 p.m., Rep. John B. Larson (CT-01) will hold a public forum in West Hartford.

This year, Larson has worked to pass legislation lowering health care and drug costs, protecting people with pre-existing conditions, improving election security, establishing universal background checks, raising the minimum wage, and keeping us in the Paris climate accords. In addition, he has introduced his landmark bill the Social Security 2100 Act. The Act, which had a full Ways and Means Committee hearing in July, would make Social Security solvent beyond the next 75 years.

Larson will also be taking questions from attendees.

The forum will be held in the West Hartford Town Hall auditorium, 50 South Main St., on Tuesday, Aug. 6, from 6-7:30 p.m.
