Voices of Hope, in partnership with the Museum of Jewish Civilization at the University of Hartford, hosted a field trip for 70 Southington High School students to the “Hartford Remembers the Holocaust” exhibit at the Museum of Jewish Civilization on March 22, 2017.

Holocaust Survivor Ruth “Tutti” Fishman spoke to the students about her experiences during WWII and about her daughter, K. Heidi Fishman’s new book “Tutti’s Promise.”

As part of the Mandell JCC Book Festival, Voices of Hope and the Mandell JCC will host a book talk, dessert reception, and signing of “Tutti’s Promise” on Monday, April 3, 2017, at 7 p.m. at the Mandell JCC in West Hartford. The event is free and open to the community.

Voices of Hope is an organization created by descendants of Holocaust Survivors to collect, categorize and share the experiences of Holocaust survivors for the benefit of future generations. Our bold mission is to foster a culture of courage and social action against hate, bigotry, intolerance, and indifference.
