“Nurture vs. Nature” explores themes related to memory, personal narratives, and nature, both within humans and in the environment. It asks the questions: are we merely a product of our environment, or do we have an influence over who we become? What is our relationship to the environment in the 21st century? How can the landscape convey emotion?
Artists in this exhibit explore personal themes using a variety of media, including painting, drawing, sculpture, and installation. All artists are art teachers in the West Hartford Public School district. Artists include:
- Rachel Clark
- Jessica Fallis
- Brigid Kennedy
- Rachael Martinelli
- Pam Murphy
- Terrance Regan
- Liz Schott
