Join root2RISE, along with local farmers, educators, artists, and community leaders, on Friday, Oct. 3, 2025, from 3:30-6:30 p.m. at Webster Walk, Blue Back Square (42 Isham Road) for the Fall Community Farm Share Event (CFSE).
This year’s CFSE invites all community members to learn, taste, and create while exploring the question: Do you know where your food comes from? Activities will include discussions with local farmers and environmental educators, cooking demonstrations, nature journaling, soup & tea wreath making, interactive art activities, and more.
root2RISE is a local nonprofit organization committed to cultivating relationships between people, land, and food. Through intentional education, advocacy, and action, root2RISE provides space for meaningful conversations around culture, climate, and community. The organization believes equitable access to land and healthy food fosters transformation toward resilient and sustainable communities.
In addition to interactive programming, participants are encouraged to support a more accessible and sustainable food system by pre-ordering a ONE-TIME Farm Share featuring fresh, locally grown vegetables and fruit. Farm Shares highlight the abundance of the fall harvest while directly supporting local farmers.
If you eat, and care about where your food comes from, this is an event you won’t want to miss!
