The West Hartford Democratic Town Committee announces the election of its officers for the 2026-2028 term.

At the committee’s most recent meeting, members re-elected Peter Andrews to continue serving as chair. Joining him are Megan Wallett as vice chair, Sharon Huie as recording secretary, Mario Volpe as corresponding secretary, Jaime Marinan as treasurer, and Brian Sullivan as deputy treasurer.

Peter Andrews, who has served as chair since May 2025, works for the Connecticut House Democrats and has played key roles in numerous campaigns, including those for Lt. Gov. Susan Bysiewicz, Rep. Jillian Gilchrest, Rep. Tammy Exum, and Town Council member Tiffani McGinnis.

“I’m grateful to the DTC for the opportunity to continue serving as chair,” said Andrews. “Our team is energized as we prepare for the 2026 midterms. With so much at stake, we’re focused on electing Democratic candidates at every level who will meet the moment and deliver for West Hartford residents.”

“It’s an honor to continue serving as vice chair,” said Wallett. “I’m proud to work alongside such a dedicated team, and I look forward to continuing our efforts to engage the community and support Democratic values here in West Hartford.”
